Anyone thinking of entering any Thompson and Morgan's garden photo competitions should be aware of exactly what they are giving away in exchange for entering. Their terms and conditions include..

"All photos that are entered will become, by default, the copyright of Thompson & Morgan and its Group of companies and will be used free of any charge for the foreseeable future in any marketing literature, be it paper, online, broadcast or any other format."

Basically you loose the right to do anything with your picture and Thompson and Morgan gain the right to do anything with it including selling it to someone else. An excellent article about this can be seen here..
