Cheltenham and Gloucster mortgage problem

Please could anyone help me. I am currently applying for a mortgage with C&G , it's a guarantor mortgage which my father is helping me with.
They initially offered me a 100% mortgage, but due to the fact my father is self employed and only had proof of his current earnings for the last 7 months they revoked their offer.
I was then advised that they would give me a mortgage for 83% of the house value. I arranged a means of getting the deposit and accepted. NOW 2 months down the line, I have just been advised that c&G cannot procede until they have projected earnings for my father.
This would be fine, but the accountants say they can not give a projected earnings figure as my dad is self employed!
I'm at a stalemate! Again!!
My father earns more than enough to apply for the mortgage and he also recieves a healthy pension from his previous employers.
Please could anyone help??? I feel so useless! There are definately enough funds, but how can I get the offer to proceed.
Please help me as this has been going on for ages now

an accountant that can't project earnings, based on 7 months trading needs to be replaced with one that can.
If they can't divide by 7 then multiply by 12 he shouldn't really be trusting them with his tax affairs.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser code of conduct. I agree with toonfish. I'm an accountant and it is not rocket science to forecast income for a self-employed person. Indeed, they wouldn't be asked to do it for someone who was employed because then it's just a case of asking the employer what the salary is.0

I wonder if it's how it's been worded to the accountant. How many times have we seen people use the word "predict" instead of "project" and that has a totally different meaning. If the accountant has been asked to give a statement of likely earnings over the coming years then they cannot do that. If they have been asked for a projection for this tax year based on current earnings, they can do that once your father has supplied them with the documentation to support that.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
