Has anyone else picked up on the recent addition to the Sunny Portal - Analysis Pro?
This is allegedly aimed at installers and is a pay-for-product but you can have a 1 month demo for free. I just loaded it up and the package is good but would not be worth paying for by anyone in my view as it seems in reality to just be a different way to access and view the same information you can already see in Sunny Portal, with a couple of bells and whistles attached to reflect more modern web pages.
I think (and perhaps this is SMA's ultimate intention) they should just replace the current Sunny Portal user interface with this but thought I would kick off a discussion, so, blue touch-paper lit and time to duck...:rotfl:

How do you access it? I use SunnyBoy software on my PC to download data, how does this compare or get data out from the inverter?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

Hi Pinnks. I saw it and thought I was happy with the current setup vs the time I want to spend looking at how much kWh I generate. If it could tell me how much I was using off the grid then I would be interested.

jimjames,
You need your inverter connected to the internet and then register it and yourself at https://www.sunnyportal.com. When login you'll get a message inviting you to load it up.
Matt,
I think you can get an add-on for SMA kit to read import. I think this gives data via the normal free view. No idea what it might cost compared to other products0
