Amazon asked me for a review of my item-then refuse to post it.

Hi,
I bought a musical instrument of Amazon (not a marketplace seller) actually had to re-order as first delivery lost, replacement was dispatched.
First item then turned up, so I had two. Actually the second was damaged due to poor packaging on Amazon's part, both were identically packaged in a cardboard box without any bubble warp whatsoever to protect the instrument.
Anyway I contacted Amazon, kept the good item and returned the damaged one, Amazon refunded postage no problem plus $4.75 as a good will gesture which I thought was nice enough.
Now they have asked me for a review and when I mentioned the Terrible packaging on the item, got an email to say they can't post it. I revised my statement to make it "less than perfect packaging" and got the second email back to say still rejected.
No big deal at all, but it beats me why they want me to give feedback then when I am truthful they want to reject the review.
Anyone got any idea why they do this?
Overall down through the years I have been a satisfied Amazon customer.

Last time I posted a review about abysmal Amazon 3rd party seller packaging, it had to go into a separate review area about packaging, not the product review section.0

Yes, same here.
When I review packaging, its in a totally different area than the item review.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Amazon are asking you for a review of the product, not their services.
You are giving a packaging / postage service review on a product review, which is why it's being rejected.0
