I want to register as self employed (Non Limited company).

I've obtained my gateway login details for gov.uk / hmrc and I'm going through the register as self employed links. These take me to the gateway login and then to my PAYE / NIC pages.

Can anyone point me to where I click from here to continue registering.

Thanks

  • If you've never done a self assessment, now that you have your government gateway id register for self assessment and during that process you'll also register to pay Class 2 National Insurance. The website has changed a lot since I last used it but I think this is the starting point: [www. gov. uk]/new-business-register-for-tax

Given your initial post this is unlikely, but have you ever done a self assessment before? If so you have to fill in a form called CWF1 instead. [www. gov .uk]/government/publications/self-assessment-and-national-insurance-contributions-register-if-youre-a-self-employed-sole-trader-cwf1

Sorry - can't post links as a new user.
