Hi everyone

Not really sure if this is the right place to ask but here goes.

I am currently a stay at home parent but looking into joining a direct selling company. I receive child benefit and as my partner works we also receive child and working tax credits but no other benefits.

My question is as I will only be earning commission do I need to pay tax from the very beginning or do I have to earn some much in commission first before its taxable.

I appreciate it may be more complex than that but I've never done anything like this before so would be grateful for any advice

Many Thanks
