Next Weeks Plan
livingbeyond
Following on from my last post, I made some changes this week which will total about £100 saving. Next week I am going to do the following:-
1) Cancel my mobile phone contract, switch to PAYG. Saving £20 month.
2) Transfer my CC balances onto 0% deals. Savings ?????
3) Compile weekly meal plan, no impulse shopping. Saving estimated £50 month.
I am going to do these plans each sunday, helps to give me something to work towards for the week to come. Hopefully these will keep me focused on the challenge ahead.
Anyone with any ideas for next plan let me know.
Thanks

Have to been to old style board? Checked gas & elec costs etc? How about doing surveys, entering comps? Well done for making changes though - every penny really does count!! Great idea to have small challenges and also to set up a diary for keeping focus!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

This is great, livingbeyond! Can I suggest one thing, tho? Turn one of these threads into your diary - don't keep making new threads, stick with one and put it all on there. Then people will know where to find you - you'll end up with your own little social group, sort of, as well as visiting other people's diaries, and you'll also have a history of how you changed your life around. Plus when things get really bad, people will say to you, "look at the first page of your diary, how far you've come, you're doing great!". Just an idea!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks Karmacat. My next post will be the 1st page of my diary. Hope to see you on there.

Well done on the changes you've already made. I went through this phase a few months ago and managed to save a fortune shopping around for new mobile deals, life insurance and broadband. Saved approximately £85 per month. Don't forget to sign up with Quidco and make some cashback.
Good luck0
