Profitable De-Cluttering.

I wouldn't declutter to make money, I'd do it for the emotional/ spiritual freedom side of things. Then vow not to waste your money on 'stuff' again!
P.S. You might be interested to read a book called Stuffocation. How about borrowing it from your local library rather than buying?
All very true, I'm not doing it to make money, but I've got rid of 50 dvds/cds and 50 books so I just feel it'd be nice to have a few quid to go with my spiritual freedom haha.
Although I do completely agree, I watched a great TEDx talk on living a waste free lifestyle a little while back, super inspiring and really interesting.0 -

Take a look at my blog, link is in my profile (Minimalist Exposure on Wordpress). I'm endeavouring to pursue a minimalist and zero waste lifestyle. You may also find the blogs Becoming Minimalist, The Minimalists and Zero Waste Home make for interesting reading. HTH.Minimalist

I've got this book (bought with gift token). My only criticism is that the author takes 350 pages to say something which could easily be said in 200 or less.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
I'll have a gander in the Library for stuffocation!
Also, Declutter update, Sold a pair of football boots for £4 profit on ebay and that harry potter book I had is already at £7.50 + postage with 4 days to go, happy days!
If I can make a couple of quid off all the 200 odd items I'm trying so hard to be rid of I'll be a very happy man0 -
Amazon Marketplace is also a good way to sell books. If you have subject specific books that were used/ could be used for Uni students, try to find a specific forum on Facebook to sell them.
There are some other great books out there on Minimalism, I've reviewed a few on my blog. Avoid Marie Kondo though! lol She's insane!!!!Minimalist

Have bookmarked your blog, so will catch up with your reviews asap.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Our council is strapped for cash (so they say), and will gladly accept any donated books in any condition. Those which are in reasonable condition will be catalogued and put out on the shelves, those which are too old and tatty are sold to a paper merchant for recycling. Perhaps other councils do the same.
