Overflowing wine in demijohn?

I am currently making wine using a wilko kit. I've got to the stage where I add cooled boiled water to top it up (3 days after I started as the kit advised), but I must have filled the Demi John too much and it all started to froth up and bubble up through and out of the air lock.
I took the air lock out, washed it and resterilised it and put tap water back in and poured an inch of wine out of my demijohn so the same thing didn't happen again .....I did this all within 15-20 mins.
My question is....have I ruined the wine as it's not bubbling much now but I can still see really tiny bubbles in the demijohn rising to the top of the liquid.
I did two kits and the one I did correctly is bubbling like mad.

itl be fine.
as long as you can see some bubbles then it is still fermenting.
unless you let dirt insects or pets get into the demijohn while it was open its very unlikely to be spoiled.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
Brill, thanks0

My mum went through a fad of home made wine, once she was given some rhubarb to make wine with, the demijohn was bubbling up through the airlock, so she decanted about a third into anothr demijohn and left them to do their stuff. The original demi produced sparkling wine while the second produced still wine! Both were fine.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
