My hubby has been repaying his debts through payplan for the past three years, l realise we could not cope with rising debts, we sorted our debts which lead us to payplan.. things have been going ok. Upto this year.. where my hubby has longterm sick benefit so his benefit still the same etc... Trition rsb, [four times] has been asking payplan for an upto date statement of our money finances, which payplan said they sent it [four times].. we are stuck in the middle because trition asking us to pay the debt in full, solicitors letter this week. When we phoned Trition said the problems is not with us,( they know they getting most of the payments as they are first on the list of debtors), but with payplan.. Payplan said they trying it on.. who do we believe? the stress is very high it making my hubby ill, also l finding it hard to cope with added pressure of helping my elderly mum, emphysemia move to a home and same building as my dad who has demensia will be in the same complex... I am going to write to payplan to ask them again to send another copy of our money outgoings to trition, plus trition would like it fax to them.. also a copy of the letter to trition so that they both can see that the request through us, to sort it out..
has anyone had this problem also what to do next xx ty lindann xxx

We had big big problems with RBOS, not Triton though. They were the only one of our creditors who would not stop interest and continually said they had not received payments even though CCCS were sending them monthly.
The only thing I can suggest is to do everything in writing and always by recorded delivery.
If you do phone, get a name, this helps so that you can quote it back if they deny you phoned. Even better, get an email address. You might be able to get one off the Consumer Action Group Forums.
How about faxing a copy of your outgoings to Triton yourself...Payplan should have provided you with a copy. You can do this from a library if you haven't got a fax machine.
RBOS solicitors are pretty incompetent IMHO.
Sorry about your parents. You don't need the stress.0 -
Hi,we are also with Payplan and two of our creditors are TESCO - RBOS. We haven't had any problems as yet, we owe them a very large amount.
Creditors are quite good at saying they haven'nt recieved the relevant paperwork, which most of the time is a delaying tactic on their behalf.
We are also with LLOYDS they kept saying that all the time!
Hang in there it will get better.

My OH has had dealings with Triton and they were an absolute nightmare to deal with. Does not answer your question but ,hopefully, gives you an insight into Triton. Payplan i have had no problem with at all.

this part of the letter triton has sent to me, we are continuing all payments through payplan
we are instructed by our client, Triton Credit Service, who are instructed by their client in connection with above liability.
We understand that, despite formal demands for repayment, the above amount remains unpaid, we are likely to be instructed to commence court proceedings against you, without further notice
However, before we commence these proceedings, you have one final opportunity to make payment of the above amount within next seven days.. Please make cheques payable to Triton Services limited, and send them to our client, details we confirm below..
Should our client not received payment or acceptable proposals within 7 days we it can only be that you will not settle this matter on amicable and reasonable terms. We are likely to be instructed to commence court proceedings against you on our clients behalf ..0 -
IF we are paying the agreed amount,by payplan, still how can this company say we not sending them any money, if they send us to court: we can only do what Payplan tell us.. are they breaking the law with this letter, l know they are scaring us... please can you advise us what to do as we done a letter to each people involved..
this is a copy of their letter to us

Hi lindann. Believe me, they are just trying to scare you. Listen to Payplan. These people are going to look pretty silly if they took you to Court and you can show that you have made arrangements to pay what you can afford via Payplan who are well respected in handling of the management of debt.
It would cost THEM money and they would still get the same amount as you are offering now.
We had an awful time with our creditors at first but now we never hear from them at all except for the odd statement.0 -
thank you janey51, l realised that, so l sent them letters out to both parties, tried to phone payplan, answer machine said letters from creditors should be sent to them.. So l posted couple of letters to all parties.. OH, Triton on saturday when we got that letter he phoned them up, after they said their problems is with Payplan, not us but the failure of the alleged not sending data from Payplan. They will take us to court, what a mess.. good luck to all who have to deal with triton, now and future, ty lindann xx bless all who have answered it. l keep you all posted xx0

Up date on Triton: we asked them to pass a cca request to RBS, which they cannot find the original agreement therefore RBS has discharged the amount Triton trying to get. We worked out that we had paid the original debt off, through pay plan, adding all total payments. IF they kept on charging interest on the original debt, due to lack of evidence of the credit agreement we won a small victory. lowing our debts and time reduced. We keeping the same payment so that the other debts will be paid that little bit quicker xxx sky xxxx0
