I'm roasting a chicken (previously frozen) on monday, and I also have a large tub of full fat philedelphia that I opened today so needs using up!
I have lots of pasta rice etc in the cupboard, no potatoes, usual tinned veg, jar of roasted red peppers, olives.
Cant; think of anything yummy to do with it!!
Help! Thanks

Hi there
Philladelphia makes a great light cheese sauce... warm up milk, mix some cornflour with cold water, pour into warm milk and heat, stirring all the time until thickened (or you can do a roux instead to thicken) add as much philli as you fancy, and stir until smooth, season -wholegrain mustard is nice too.... stir through some warm chicken - and you can add some sweetcorn etc....is lovely over pasta...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

I was thinking along similar lines, though I'd put the cooked pasta into a shallow dish, top with the Philly cream chicken sauce, and bake in the oven. Eat with salad.

If you have something like pesto or herbs, stir it into the Philly, and tuck spoonfuls under the breast skin.0
