I'd take Pimms, or a nice gin like Sipsmith or Adnams which come in nice antiquey-looking bottles (so look like a proper present).

I bought Grant's scotch whisky 350ml bottle. Nice looking bottle. I am thinking to add something else which is not expensive but authentical British? Any ideas?
