New Enterprise Allowance

To put a long story short, I did an apprenticeship which went horribly wrong which resulted in me ending up being £1000 out-of-pocket. I am 19 years old.

I have been self-employed for about 2-3 years now. I would like to give my business a go full-time, as I believe its got potential. I have been running it on the side for the past few years, now I want to really get serious about it. I am just wondering would I be eligible for government funding such as "New Enterprise Allowance". As I believe something like that would really benefit me.

Thanks for your time.

New enterprise allowance is for those wishing to start a business who are in receipt of benefits. If you are not then you are not eligible for it.

This is every grant or initiative available from the government for finance and support, you can go through it and see what is/isnt applicable.

How far did you get with the apprenticeship ?

Are you qualified in what you do ?

If your not qualified why would anyone go to you when someone else is qualified and with years of experience behind them ?

Your questions have nothing to do with the questions asked.

I dont see why the length of apprenticeship is relevant to someone who is self employed?

I dont see a reason for the OP needing qualifications?

I would assume they have already had customers having been self employed for 2 years. I would assume they where happy to take on the OP with what they had to offer be it experience, qualifications or just sheer determination to work.
