What should i be asking them?

Hi everyone, i am looking to see if anyone has been in the same situation as i am and how you went about it?

I attended a job interview at the beginning of August, i was told i would find out in a few days if i was successful.

I received an email to say a few more candidates were being interviewed so i would find out in a week to ten days... i never heard back so i emailed them to be told they were very impressed and would like me to work for them however the role was on hold due to the collapse of the Williams & Glyn project ending as they needed to redeploy there permanent staff.

There was no time scale given how long this would be on hold for, i want to email and say and i am still interested and see if i can find out a time scale but don't want to appear desperate or put them off in anyway!!

I am still employed full time with my current employer but feel i need to move on, how would you word an email to show your keen and to keep in touch without appearing over bearing?

I think you leave it. They know where you are, but at the moment there are no jobs. You have already shown your interest. Contacting then again seems too much to me.
