My money saving day!

As I'm skint I thought Id use my clubcard tokens for a cheap day out at Alton Towers (tickets are £32 each normally!) so only had petrol and food to pay for.
Anyway I'm going down the motorway when a tiny little stone jumps infront of my windscreen and chips it, so much for my cheap day out!
I'm hoping that the chip can be repaired as I really don't want to pay £50 to get it replaced. It's only 6 weeks since I got a new windscreen (another little stone!), I joked back then that it saved me cleaning it but now it's not quite so funny!

Can you get it done free on insurance if its a chip? or do some insurances not cover it?
I must check my policy for stuff like that, its not happened to me YET.Tallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0 -
To make you feel better, Gems, I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. I was hit with a stone thrown up by the driver in front of me and to be honest it looked like the kind of damage a bullet would cause. So I pretended to be driving around in a Robert de Niro-type film. I f you are full comp can your insurance cover it or are you limited to a maximum number of claims per annum?
had a good day myself. Got the loan of a season ticket for the match then my mother gave me £10 from her winnings on the lottery last week!!! Tried a lucky dip on the lottery to pass on my good fortune- not so lucky5th May 1973, 3.31pm Porterfield Heaven:j :j

*** Doh!!*** posted this before reading the last post heh
Cheer up could be worse, like my grandad. He was driving down a road and stopped to let a farmer cross with a herd of cows. One cow decided he liked the look of my grandads car and sat on the bonnet hehe. Cost £1000 to fix
. Not funny because of the cost but the image of my grandad staring out of his windscreen while a cow takes a seat on his bonnet cracks me up everytime. Hopefully your insurance should be able to fix it for free if it's only a small chip
