I've not used fabric conditioner for years, I can't say that I've missed it. Something else we are 'told' we need when we dont.
I agree about the annoying adverts - they must think we are all stupid, they are so partonising too.
I am a vinegar convert for the cleaning, I did all my batroom tiles last week and they are gleaming. I used to hate cleaning the bathroom using the sprays, I could feel and taste them in my throat - yuk! vinegar is much better.A penny saved is one you don't have to earn! :wave:0 -
Microfiber cloths are brillinat too.. Enjo type but can be found cheaper now. A fine spray of water and a bit of elbow grease is all you need at times.
And on advertising...ever wonder who' gullible enough to buy it.
Years back they used to try to impress us on how the laundry detergent could clean even through a tight knot and I remember a comedian commenting on how long it took to undo all the wet knots at the end! :rotfl:I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -

Thus, I clean with vinegar, bicarb, lemons and bleach when I need to although I do have the odd bottle of cream cleanser in my cupboard. Sometimes, it's just what I need and at Netto it's only 29p a bottle, which is way off Cif prices.
Hi Ticklemouse. Though not cheap compared to 29p, I can VERY much recommend Ecover Cream Cleaner. I think it's about £1.16 where I buy it, for 500ml (I am estimating!!!). Lasts me ages - probably I only buy one or two bottles a year - and that's with using it quite often for the sink and bath. Though not the cheapest, it's certainly a good bet if you're after a good, biodegradable cream cleaner that won't leave chemical residues in your home. I don't think I've seen it in supermarkets, but get it in my local healthfood shop.0
