The Band with Rocks In is Buddy's band, not Crash and co's band - will read the book again tonight - they went through about 6 or 7 names before the last one.
They were at some point Insanity, Suck, The Whom, The Blots, Lead Balloon, The Surreptitious Fabric, and may have ended up as Ande Supporting Bandes from here, but will check the book:

I think they ended up being something from the concert poster like
