Hi all, am looking at starting a stakeholder pension with Scottish Widows and selecting my own funds within this. Does anyone have any recommendations/comments about their funds based on past performance? Am looking for medium to high risk (75%) with the rest invested in lower risk tracker style funds. Thanks,

The personal pension is better than the stakeholder. It offers the best of both worlds with the internal range and the external. As a medium/high risk investor, stakeholder really isnt the product for you as the fund ranges available on stakeholders is geared to the basic inexperienced investor who typically is medium risk or lower.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
