Anyone Remortgaged with Santander?

Options
We currently have a 2 year fixed with Santander that comes to an end in April. We can look around for a new offer from January.

My question is ~ do you need to provide payslips when you remortgage with Santander? I'm asking because my income has dropped significantly since we got the mortgage. This drop actually happened 3 months after we got it and we've had no problems paying the mortgage and have even managed to overpay!

My current wages and my husbands would not pass the affordability stage!!

I know you can reapply online (it won't let me yet, possibly in January). Is it just a case of entering your account no, name, finding the deal you want and ticking a box?

Thanks in advance :)

you can apply for a retention product and there is no credit check or new application. But you may not get the best market rates.

As stated, a new product is a simple online process. Rates are rarely competitive.
