Hi I have bad debt which is now under control as in I am paying an iva and have been for a long time (nearly there) I am now self employed with an ok income.however i still have a credit card with a bal of 3k that has very high interest.
Is there a credit card with a balance transfer offer for bad debtors?
I also am in desperate need of a car, i know that many car companys offer car finance to bad debt but i am nervous of which to use.

Hi,
(A) Whilst in an IVA you cannot have credit of more than £500 unless you declare your IVA.
(B) You will not get regular car finance of any description whilst in an IVA, because you are insolvent, except perhaps from certain companies who install an electronic box in the car, that allows it to run once payment has been made, you would need to use Google here.
Also how did you get a credit card with a 3k limit whilst insolvent ?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
