filling in tax forms

Just tried to start filling in form SA900 and discovered the form cannot be edited.

Does on really have to print it out and use a pen in the 21st century?!

Or is there an editable version somewhere? Amyone know?

I'm not completing it online.

I'm downloading the form to complete (ideally on my desktop rather than by hand), print and post and post.

It doesn't look like it has been made editable (unless there is as you hope an alternative version hidden away somewhere) so if you want to edit it you'll need a PDF editor. I have Acrobat through work but I suspect if you had to buy it it's probably quite expensive.

I'd suggest you post on the Techie board to ask what free software is available and recommended (or perhaps have a search first as I believe the question has been asked before, and you know what people are like when already answered questions are re-asked ).
