Butlin's - Lost Luggage

Hello
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but has anyone had experience of leaving luggage in the Butlin's 'Safe and Secure' Luggage area within Guest Service and returned to find an item of your luggage missing?
If so, how did you deal with it and what outcome did you have?
Thanks.

Nope. The only experience I have of Butlins was our toddler son losing a sandal in the Minehead Skyline, and we didn't notice for about an hour so it could have been anywhere. Went to Guest Services the next morning to ask if they had a lost & found, and was delighted to hear that a cleaner had handed it in:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Thanks for the reply.
I too was at Minehead, checked out Friday and stored our luggage in their Guest Services Luggage Room while we waited for our bus. Problem is they managed to 'lose' one of my bags yet only staff are meant to enter the room. They've messed me and the police around with information regarding CCTV and the resort staff are being really unhelpful about the matter.
I've been told I now need to deal with Head Office and that needs to be through email / snail mail. Was hoping someone would have a direct contact or similar as don't fancy waiting 14 days after they've acknowledged my email.0 -
Oh dear....Was there anything of value within the bag? Did you offer to take out insurance with your booking and have they advised whether you are covered for this?0

Yes there was my Surface Pro 4 and iPad Mini in there along with some other smaller items. Didn't have insurance with the holiday but I've spoken to my insurance company and I'm covered through my contents insurance. Don't really want to make a claim though as it will bump up the renewal next year and have to pay excess. I feel Butlin's should cover it as it was left in their care but have to go through Head Office as the resort won't deal with it.0
