Help me find a vest!

I wear basic vest tops a lot, either on their own or layered under other things. I've got a huge vest collection but I'm struggling to find a basic black vest that fits well.
I don't want anything unflatteringly tight, but a lot of places like Primark only seem to sell stretchy vests with a high elastic content that cling to every lump and bump. I don't want anything made from polyester or acrylic either as I'm a sweaty enough person as it is without being swaddled in a layer of plastic.
This vest from White Stuff is pretty good, but sadly they don't do it in black

I've had vests that tick most of the above boxes before from Dorothy Perkins but the fabric was so thin my bra showed through.
It can't be this hard to find a black vest can it? If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

Do you have an H&M near you? I always found their long vests to be very good, and I'm sure they're cotton, or very high cotton content.0

I would M&S for that sort of thing http://www.marksandspencer.com/pure-cotton-vest-top-with-staynew/p/p22426528?prevPage=plp&pdpredirectBut a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I'd also recommend h&m. Much better than similar from places like primary, new look etc. I also rate their basic t-shirts. Their website/delivery is pretty good too.0

I've got a few h&m vests which I wear layered under other tops, but they tend to be very slim fitting too so too tight to wear on their own. If I go up a size they gape under the armpits so not ideal.
I will have a look in m&s though, I didn't even think about trying there, I normally just go for the food court!0 -
Matalan do reasonable basic strappy vests

Asos give 189 results for "black vest"....I did start checking them out but I know I'll end up buying something if I carry on!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0
