Alternatives to Soap

I have been thinking of removing soap from my face cleansing routine and using a wash cloth to scrub deal skin.
For years I have used simple soap followed by simple moisturiser and its worked well.
It is a little drying and the moisturisers cost about £60 a year and sometimes I run out for a week before I can stock up
Are there other options?

Have you tried the Simple Micellar water? That's really good for cleansing and doesn't dry the skin at all. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
