Hotel to stay in with 4 year old child New Years Eve?

Can anyone recommend a child friendly hotel for New Years Eve? We live in Manchester but anywhere in North West as we don't mind travelling.
I just find New Years Eve such a let down that I thought this year it might be nice to do something.
Thanks

I have been to dinner dances in hotels that are child freiendly and they do residential packages - not cheap though usually but lots of fun.0

We're taking our little ones (will be 4 and 2) on a break to Pontins. They can't wait, and for us it will be so nice to be able to have a laugh, and dh can have a drink without worrying about how we'll get home.

I should mention, its pretty cheap and cheerful, but that means it was at least half the price of Butlins for ushey there's no money but we couldn't be happier if we tried

Just remember to check with the hotel the child policy (I have worked in quite a few hotels in my time
)
Hotels who have a good child policy generally throughout the year have a different slant on New Years. If you were thinking of attending a function a lot of hotels have a 'no child' policy as it is thought to spoil the event for couples and groups to have kids running round. (this is the hotel view ha!) Hotels generally think of New Years Eve as an adult time rather than a kids time - admittidly being childless the thought of having kids running round at a function I have paid good money for doesn't fill me with joy, hence I choose to go to a kid free hotel. - sorry ended up rambling on a bit... my point being - just check with the hotel on their policy and just because you have stayed at the same hotel during the year where it is kid friendly, does not make it so at NYE! Hope you find somewhere lovely to go and your kid has a great time!

also some hotels have a babysitting service whcih you obviously have to pay for but if you are looking for an adult only night but want to take ds/dd, my friends is a qualified nanny and she does this soem saturday nights.Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts
