Thanks SuzieSue brilliant easy and all Done now thank you so much. Also registered to look at my tax online easy that was says my total taxable income this year is £59K no way is that correct but it matches what is on my wage slips.

At home sick just got too much with my cold couldn't face going in and I only had one meeting today. Really tired so chilling in bed DG took day off too she's not been sleeping well so kind of understand it.

Personal trainer at 6pm tonight not looking forward to it but will be good to do something I guess.

Still no letters from insurance companies starting to doubt it will happen before Christmas and still no rent from agent but too soon to chase either.

I'm sure it will all be fine.

Off to Birmingham tomorrow after the board meeting two nights for my leadership course glad I'm staying night before long way to go and late meeting Weds.

Going to watch a film now nice to have Internet and sky movies.

Spoke to soon re HMRC I got rejected as I already had a UTC number which I didn't know. Rang them really quick answer (not like tax credits ) I turned out I had a dormant self assessment account from last time I had a second income 2000 amazing this keep records that long. He deactivated it and said I should get one sent now to be comepleted by Jan 18.

Survived the gym hard with a runny nose but think I will feel better at work tomorrow. Going to have early night and get into work early, already packed for Birmingham.

That's good. You should be able to see your state pension forecast as well now you have registered.

Thanks SuzieSue that's really handy prior to my next meeting with the IFA. On a train to Birmingham for my leadership course. Still feel rubbish but hopefully a good nights sleep and no early start should help.

This is the link. I'm not sure if you would have created a Government Gateway account when you signed up for SA, but if you didn't you will have to create one:

I hope you feel better soon. My husband has a bad cold at the moment so I am hoping I don't catch it.

Thank you I'll have a look at that one. Last day in Birmingham been really good course shame it's ending only one more session in march. Cold still not gone but feel a lot better and it's the weekend soon.

Got a message from one of the pension companies yesterday they wanted to check which address to write too. I called back just before closing time to let them know. Hopefully a letter early next week and we can move a step closer.

Rent money has gone in just over a £1000 need to see breakdown of fees but at lest I've got it and the insurance refund.

Oh dear made a mess of applying for he m&s account it didn't ask me about switching so I am sure it's not done correctly and no email yet. Oh well we shall see.

Was a good idea £100 m&s vouchers for switching then £10 a month for a year as well as a £250 a month 5% saving account that will be ideal for my rent month as you have to pay £1000 in a month but also switch.

Lazy day yesterday only productive thing was making parsnip soup from veg box veg. Now need to go to coop to get chicken so we can cook some of all the sqashes we have from said box. Worth it though as I got first and fourth one half price then second week £10 off milk eggs etc and finally a bottle of processco but I actually got two.

Right off I go to the shops DG is having lunch with a friend.

Bit fed up today still got my cold and feeling so tired dispite sleeping quite well second night on night nurse. Went home early instead of returning to the office need to write up notes tomorrow but not too far behind even if I had three days out last week.

DG really fed up with her job it's still the dreaded CCMS system that's the problem and no admin support. I try and support her but she's a bit down. Hopefully a nice long break in New York over Christmas will help.

No news from pensions apart from letter Friday saying it would take longer than normal and I would get letter in five days. I've spoken to them since to confirm my address but I'm none the wiser. No breakdown from estate agent either will chase that tomorrow should at least have had breakdown of charges or any paperwork

So five working days this week three next week then break. Can't wait not in the best mood and only made gym once last week and couldn't face it today will go tomorrow.

    Night night all.

So about the negative post all a lot better now it's Friday and three working days left before Chrismas break.

Got breakdown from estate agent all is fine and good course today on council tax useful idea for business with DG as well long way out in the future.

Called one pension company today couldn't wait any longer needed to know. After security told cheque is in the post.

Well I asked for how much £257k about £50k more than expected with one to come. How strange to get a cheque really mixed feeling thanking my poor ex but also grateful for this amazing gift.

I will use it wisely but took DG out for dinner and few two for one cocktails much needed and early night now.

Toasted poor ex but new start new beginnings and lots of wise investing and planning.

    Night night all
