Hi guys,
I need some urgent help if possible, I'm looking to borrow more with my mortgage company as my property has earn't a fair bit in equity since I purchased it, this doesn't look a problem and it runs alongside my current mortgage.
Anyway, my question is, when I apply would I be better off paying off my credit cards (2 of them) first or would it not really matter? I have the money to pay it off now.
I want to apply for it today.

If it fits affordability with them, it should be personal preference in the main.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. My credit score is 572, is this good enough for me to apply or should I pay a chunk off to help?
If I do pay some off how long does it take to change online so it improves, I don't want to pay some off and apply but it hasn't taken effect.0
