What to say to bank

Hi,
My overdraft is more than my salary so I am overdrawn by around 200-300 when my wages are paid in. I know I should keep a diary for spending and that is somethjing I am trying to do with MS money, but it is the situation as it is now that I need to address so I can get myself out of debt. My insurance is quite high but it has increased as we had to make a claim and have lost our discount.
The od is authorised but I am going over this limit by the last week of the month. Bank charges are obviously adding to this and the bank will not refund any charges- they have done so twice in the past year and are not willing to do so anymore.
The bank in question is the Halifax.
I really dont want to get a loan because this experience has shown me this is not the answer. It is difficult for me to get extra part time work as I am a teacher and by the time I get home from school it is sometimes quite late in the evening. I have sent ads for home tuition at the weekend and need to see if I get any clients for this.
I have a family of 5 to support and yes our food bill is quite high but we do have to provide pack lunches for the children and ourselves - this is cheaper than school meals. Unfortunately I cannot get any benefit help as I earn too much money!
We have reduced our sky package but this includes internet access and this is vital for my work.
I hope this addresses some points raised.
Thanks again for listening and the advice. From the sounds of it so far meeting with the bank is a waste of time.0
