Guys I stupidly took out a log book loan... Long story short I was desperate for cash, thought I could pay it back very quick but turns out I can't so struggling to pay them £40 a week.
Now this morning for some mad reason they have sent me a letter saying "thank you for your payment. Your account is now cleared" along with the v5 document?!
I know for a fact I still owe about £800 on the loan.
Now, what does this mean for me? Do I have to carry on paying it? Can they threaten to take my car off me? Can I pay them less?
This sounds like it could be a Very out from the scaryness they bring?

I would contact them, I'm sure it is an error and you still owe the money.
Put the money to pay the loan to one side so when it comes to it you can make your payments back up to date.
Only they can answer your query properly so it's best to speak to them sooner rather than later0 -
Maybe a mistake, only way to find out is to ask them.0
