Hi
We are still awaiting a completion date to move house and have noticed that HSBC have lowered their 10 year Fee Saver product from 2.79 to 2.64 and wondered if we were able to change to the new rate since we have had a Mortgage Offer accepted?

Hi, yes you can do that. I did the same with HSBC. Please contact the mortgage advisor ASAP.0

I have tried contacting my advisor at HSBC but have been told that he is on annual leave until next week and will have to wait until his return to discuss the new rate with him, which is rubbish.0

It is, isn't it.
The last time I checked, HSBC had more than one qualified mortgage adviser on the team. Did you not ask to speak to his Manager?I am a Mortgage Broker

I have tried contacting his manager to be told he is unavailable and will get back to me. I have just tried ringing again this morning as I received an email yesterday from another HSBC mortgage advisor stating that they had tried contacting me on my mobile (although I had asked them to ring me at work) and that I can book to arrange a appointment with my advisor for when you returns or to contact them if I would like to carry on with my application?
Hopefully I will get to speak to the person who emailed me yesterday and I can find out if I will automatically be on the new lower rate as the APR has not changed once our mortgage starts. But No one seems to be able to give me an answer0 -
