Keeping beaten egg?

I've just made some bread and I brushed it with a bit of beaten egg before baking it, and I've quite a lot of egg left. Can I keep in a jar in the fridge to use in the next day or two? It seems a waste to chuck it as I will probably make bread or pastry again in that time.

As long as the container is sealed then it will be fine for a day or three in the fridge. Any longer I'd freeze it in an ice cube tray0

Add a little plain flour, some mile and whisk up.
Put pan on stove with a bit of lard. When nice and hot, ladle in batter for pancake. Then toss.
Spin out onto plate. Continue until all batter has gone.
Add fruits to said pancakes, cocoa and sugar to taste.
Enjoy!0
