6 years finally Debt Free!!!

I've done it! Never thought I'd ever see light at the end of the tunnel!!!

But after 6 years after inheriting debt from my deceased father including my own reckless debts as a student i've finally become debt free!

It's just a matter of calling the final handful of debtors tomorrow and settling the balances. So far have haggled down over 1500 in settlements tonight! the best one so far was from £980 to £300 as long as I paid in full!

So gone from just under £8000 debt to £0 So So Happy and pleased that my new family can start a fresh :beer:

Also nearly forgot saved £3500 of this debt after complaining over some unfair terms in the contract and the conduct of a Hire Purchase company! Ended up with the debt being written off by the FO (Ombudsmen)

Absolutely cmcavon but at least it has taught me a sense of budgeting and financial responsibility now I can get a Ferrari on Hire Purchase
