Does a 'stalled purchase' rail ticket return to the market at the same price?

I've just tried to purchase an advance single from EMT, who showed it as the last ticket left at that time at that price. The purchase stalled at the last hurdle (screenprint is of the display showing for the last half hour).
I've used another browser and that time is now showing at a higher price, presumably because their systems are holding on to it as it thinks someone is in the middle of buying it. When will it give up, and will this last ticket return at the lower price?
