Help with new look Hotmail on ipad

A couple of days ago my hotmail account automatically updated to the new look. Using chrome on my desktop/laptop its not much different, my inbox displays with a box to tick alongside each email to delete so I can delete multiple emails together without opening them.

However on my ipad I can't find any way to delete emails without opening each one and doing it individually which takes ages. When I'm away from home I always take my ipad to check emails once a day. With hundreds of emails daily this will now take forever.

Does anyone know if there is a way to delete multiple emails on an ipad with the new look outlook?

Thanks

My hotmail changed over this morning, if you scroll right down to the bottom of the page there should be a 'mobile site' click on that and it should change you back to the old way, it worked for me.

I can't see a 'mobile site', what does it look like and where exactly am I looking? I just have a blue bar at the bottom of the page.

    Are you using an app?
  • No I'm not using an app, I just type in hotmail, on my screen it was right at the bottom, next to terms, privacy, and then it was 'mobile site' so I clicked that and it went straight back to the normal way, mine didn't have a blue bar though sorry. Another person was asking about this on here, if you look through the messages someone may have replied to them with some information that could help you.

Thanks for the reply, still can't work it out on the ipad.

I've just looked up the other thread and it seems to be talking about Chrome on laptop/desktop. Hotmail automatically came up with the tick boxes on there for me so no problems.
