  • Please can someone help? This is killing me!

I filled in all my details and previous 6 years worth of credit history perfectly

I'm on the electoral register for current address

I pay all my direct debits on time

    I save lots

I have a mobile phone contract paid for by work

I genuinely don't know why I can't get a credit report. Credit Club says they can't gain any info and all their tips are useless. There is really nothing more I can do.

I've revisited this after this happened 6 months ago and it's the same story. Tried Equifax and the other 2. All say they can't get info.

So what do I do? Just accept I won't get a home and can't get a credit card?
Do I get a credit card with nationwide to help build up my score? This all started as I tried 3 times to get an AMEX BA card and I surprisingly got rejected.

Any help AT ALL would be welcomed!

It sounds as if they cannot identify you from the details provided. Attempting to take out another credit card won't help. You need to contact the credit reference agencies direct (e.g. by requesting a £2 statutory report).

Hi. I applied for a loan recently and got flat out refused. When I queried this, it transpired that because the word "Flat" was missing from my address they could only find some of my history. It was resolved quickly and the loan was offered.

It's killing you? Get a grip of yourself!

It's odd that none of the credit reference agencies can find you. One I could understand but all 3?

Firstly, stop applying for credit until you get this sorted out. The credit reference agencies cannot see your savings account so those are irrelevant. Work pay for your mobile phone and you don't appear to have ever had a loan, credit card or mortgage so it's possible you cannot be verified due to a lack of data to verify you against. What kind of current account do you have? Is it a basic current account? How long have you been on the electoral register? Have you moved around a lot in the last 6 years?

When its asking for your name are you entering your full name and not a short version.

Might be better off calling the agencies.

Dont worry about your score as per my previous reply #5.
