Rather than fretting why not speak to HR/Payroll and ask them what the final figure will be pay wise. They will be able to give you the information subject of course to the proviso that you work the notice period up to and including 25th Sept. I am of course assuming you gave full notice at your current job.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.
  • As others have said just miss the debt payment. If you absolutely do not what to do this then you could ring your internet or phone providers and ask to pay a few weeks late which they will do - but then you end up paying more next month and so it begins ... Only if needs really must.

You could eat on a budget, Omelette and chips, beans on toast, cheese and tomato pasta, £1 pizzas from the Iceland, nacho chips + chilli, sausage chips & beans, 3 minute noodles, plain chicken, unused frozen veg + gravy etc and still survive. Most of us think we have nothing to eat until we actually look when we have nothing!

I've never gone hungry nor my boy or partner but so often we say there is nothing in when really there is just nothing we want to cook/create.

I'm assuming your coming in as a District nurse or something similar, your new employers will probably give you the money for petrol on a slip you pay back when you get paid. That might help
  • If it's a grad ball, you can probably get away with sneaking some drinks in. Hip flask of vodka and buy non-alcoholic drinks all evening (though if it's anything like mine was, though will be four times as expensive as they ought to be and badly watered down!).

  • Hi all quick update I have emailed stepchange regarding cancelling my DMP payment this month. In regards to phoning payroll I have given in less than two weeks notice (should have been 4 but had understanding boss) so I daren't raise it with them incase I might still get paid my normal amount (naughty I know) Also as regards paying NMC by DD I am aware this can be done but as far as I know that first payment for register entry has to be a lump sum as it can take (according to them) twenty days to set up DD and I need my pin by the 26th of this month to start my job (also cant apply until next Thursday when in uni). Thankyou all for your advice :)
Love my DMP left to pay £0/ £10162.51
