It is smthing like 65S3807 although right one is written on payslips. My tax record is also not found in HMRC with right NI even i am paying it from last 8 months. Anybody could please tell me why is it so?

Phone these people - https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/hm-revenue-customs/contact/national-insurance-enquiries-for-employees-and-individuals

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -
What do you mean by "in HMRC"? Where, exactly, are you seeing the wrong NI number (given that the correct one is on your payslips) - is this in a letter they sent you, on their website (after creating an account), or somewhere else?
Ariarnia makes a good suggestion - speak to HMRC about it instead of random forum people, because they'll have both the knowledge and the ability to fix it. But when you do phone them, it'll help if you can give a more accurate description of what you're seeing, and why you think it's wrong.0 -
I suspect English may not be the first language of the OP, apologies if that isn't the case. If I'm correct, it would help if they had a native English speaker to help them when speaking to HMRC or any other public body for that matter.0

Or they could ask for a translator for their native language.0 -
i have seen my NI number on the letter received from HMRC (PAYE and Self Assessment). Though It was received seven months ago still i could not realize the difference until yesterday. I Have phoned them but they are saying that its not my problem rather my employer needs to contact them whereas my employer is saying that it is not his mistake rather the mistake is on the part of HMRC.0

Are you sure you are looking at the right thing ? What you have quoted sounds like it could be a 'tax reference number' - a number that your employer is allocated by HMRC to identify them, and not the same as the NI number that is unique to each individual employee. Both codes should be shown on a payslip0 -
This might be the case but in both of their letters HMRC quoted it as NI number.p00hsticks wrote: »Are you sure you are looking at the right thing ? One might be a temporary NI number.0

Do HMRC still provide translators? DWP don't for JSA any more, and we were discouraged from using them on other benefits too. If somebody needs a translator it's down to the individual to arrange it, at their own cost.0 -

I think you may be right, Wikipedia suggests that 'temporary reference' numbers are in the format that the OP describes (although it's not clear whether the T in the example is always used to signify temporary or that any letter could be used).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Insurance_number#Temporary_numbers
This forum entry suggests that it can be any letter.

See the post made at 3:40 that says it's for internal use only but sometimes slips onto documents sent to the public.0
