    I haven't bought a lottery ticket for over 10 years ... I used to work in a newsagents part-time and having seen the amount of tickets sold on a saturday and then only ever getting 3 or 4 people come back in (and only ever for a tenner) I have never bothered since ;) Do any other dfw's buy them?? Without meaning to insult anyone here it generally seemed where I worked that the people who bought tickets were the ones who could least afford to ... :o

    I do the Thunderball one and win probably once every two months. I let the boys pick the numbers, they have a line each and the excitement is unbearable come 8pm on a Saturday.

    Very true about the people least able to afford it, many's the time I've seen folk buy £10 worth of lucky dip tickets and you just know they're banking on winning.:rolleyes:
