Getting funds out of employers AE scheme

I asked about doing a partial transfer. Response from Cavendish was:
Fidelity themselves:Provided this is a Group Personal Pension and does not have any guarantees and is not a defined benefit scheme then you can transfer this to a Fidelity FundsNetwork SIPP with us without advice, provided the initial transfer is more than £10,000.
HL:Thank you for your secure message asking about a partial transfer from a group personal pension scheme run by your employer to a SIPP with Fidelity.
As long as you would not lose any pension guarantees by making this transfer then advice should not be required.
We operate a direct product, the Fidelity SIPP, which you can apply for online at www.fidelity.co.uk after changing your view to the website for personal investors. You manage this yourself and the minimum initial transfer is £10,000 and further transfers have a £1,000 minimum. Transfers can take 8 weeks or more to process.
If you go through Cavendish Online or any other IFA or broker you will be applying for our advised product, the FundsNetwork Pension, and the broker will manage the SIPP, and, normally, charge you for this.
You may wish to discuss your intentions with your employer's scheme before you go ahead as they may not be in a position to do repeated partial transfers out.I can confirm that there is no requirement to take formal financial advice to transfer into Hargreaves Lansdown but your current provider may require you take financial advice to transfer out of their scheme. If they do require that you take advice, then it is required that the advice you receive is in favour of transferring into Hargreaves Lansdown.
Got about £5k in the ER pension at the moment, will have another think about this once more is in there.0
