Face Cream

I can deny it no longer, I'm getting older. I looked in the mirror last weekend and I realise that I am going to have to invest in some anti-ageing/anti-wrinkle cream. I've used Body Shop Tea Tree oil products for as long as I can remember as I have (or maybe that should be had) oily open-pored skin and it has suited me well but now I think I need something a little more technoligical!

I looked in the shops and there is a daunting array of products with vast price differentials! I've heard that expensive isn't necessarily best but I just don't know where to start. I've also heard that rentinol is the ingredient to go for.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm a recent convert to Liz Earle stuff.

I get the light face cream & the hot cloth clean & polish wash.

They sell it on ebay, but its cheaper on the Liz Earle website.
  • I am a Dermalogica fan. :j

  • Joanna Lumley uses astral or nivea cream. Can't remember which one but she looks great.
  • Aldi were on tv just advertising a day and night creme for £1.89 can't remember the name of it but for that price it has to be worth a go....

That maybe so, but I wonder what else she is using when she is not advertising?

Will go and have a look - is it just a basic moisturiser/cleanser or does it claim anti-ageing/wrinkling properties?

I am not afan of expensive creams and for years just used the simple cream.
i wanted something better, tried the No7 protect & perfect and its ok.
but now I have found what i think is a great product and to me its BETTER than the protect and perfect..Olay regenerist serum...i think this stuff is great, within 1 week I could see the difference in my skin. skin looks younger and fine lines are fading. excellent product, sells in Boots for 22.50 but i bought 2 bottles on ebay for £18 inclusing P&P!!!! I am converted and will def
continue using it. oh BTW I think boots are doing a offer on it at the moment, reduced to about £14 I think. sorry, I just checked and offer is finished, I saw it last week.
