Assuming we do exit, then it will be a success.
  • If we stay fully within the single market and customs union then a success. Otherwise a failure.

If we do that without free movement, then a success.

The objectives are totally incompatible with each other; so if we pull it off it'll be a miracle.

OP Not sure what the question means, but how can anyone vote on this without knowing what are the success or failure criteria? We all have different ideas of what is a success.

I would say a successful deal would be to keep access to the single market, make some progress on limiting freedom of movement.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

Its a complete failure. So much time and energy being spent on this nonsense......and for years to come.

I would say a successful deal would be to reform our own benefit system so that access to welfare is available after x number of years of contributions, or residence. After that, access to the single market including free movement. Adherence to EU laws and monetary contributions to the EU I don't mind either way.

it will be a success, its not like its an over night thing, so people and businesses have time to adapt. We are already seeing that the UK is chugging along fine since the vote, if not better, while the Eurozone sinks into more economic problems. We wont escape completely from the fall out, but it should now be reduced

We are doing just fine after the vote,we are attracting record amounts of investment and this bodes well for the future, the pound has fallen but instead of investors and countries running for the hills they have seen it as an investment opportunity.
All these companies and people know fall well we are going to leave the eu and possibly the single market but are still investing here.
The biggest thing is most think the eu is doomed to fail now,it has run its course and the eu isn't prosperous at all,in fact only Germany seems to be doing ok,everyone else is doing very badly.
The eu is trying to defy the people and bring in a Eu army and closer union but the people don't want either.
They haven't learnt any lessons from our vote.more will follow.

I'm surprised at those Poll results. Most people are saying they think it's been a success, and yet here we are months since the referendum and the doom mongers are still starting threads saying the world may be coming to an end.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
