Disappointed with Payplan at the end of my DMP

Options
so 10 years and 20k later I've just made the final payments to my creditors and its feels awesome :beer::beer:

Very disappointed with Payplan as I've neared the end of my plan though. I contacted them three months ago so say I'm nearing the end and could they let me know what my final payments would be etc......I've had zero, zilch, nada from them!

So got fed up waiting and called each creditor today to make my last payments and then cancelled my standing order.

Have been very greatfully of the service Payplan have provided throughout my plan and am disappointed to have ended this way but hey ho I'M DEBT FREE (save for a large mortgage but that doesn't count right :D)

Never thought I'd get here but I am going to enjoy the freedom of being out of my DMP

:money:

  • Well done for getting it cleared! I too am with PayPlan and am 1 payment away from clearing £45,000! Strangely they have been very good the last few months in getting final balances etc and I can't really fault them for their service, maybe you were unlucky with your case officer? Either way it's done now and I doubt you care! There are a few things I would do differently if I was starting out again with the knowledge gained from this forum but after 6.9 years I'm just glad it's nearly over! Credit record is still a bit ropey but this will improve over time and not really wanting masses of credit again anyway
