    update, called the company accountant this morning and his excuse for not paying me was, oh i wasn't sure if you wanted paying for that holiday, so i got it sorted, thanks for all you guys who took the time to reply.

    Yes you should be reimbursed for that day. Where I work it would be given as a day off in leiu.

    Right so out of the SSP i recieved i HAVE LOST £105. i'm part time as well that's surely wrong :/

    It would be helpful if you would start your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's. And if you could explain what you are talking about. We aren't mind readers, and we can't even attempt to explain what might have happened based on a bit of shouting. Can you please explain calmly what has happened and what your payslip says. Then we can try to make some sense out of it. Thank you.

    I take it you mean that your Employer has paid you Holiday Pay for a period when you were sick?


    If you think you should be paid BOTH SSP & HP for that period then you are sadly mistaken.
