'New' Car

I have a Citroen C3 Turbo Diesel 03 Reg - it's great with the Road Tax (£30), MPG, motorway cruising - still pulls well going up a gradient at 60 to 75 mph, and for the size - plenty of room; OTOH a pig going around corners!
Bought it for £3600 about six/seven years ago.

Any recommendations please for a replacement car?

I don't do much mileage, so it could be petrol, may go for something slightly bigger. Spend - big question, more so since I don't have much of a clue what cars cost these days - new or used! Certainly would like to avoid a four figure amount.

So, comments could have different price options. Look forward to them.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts I've been Money Tipped!
A decade ago I travelled - there & back nine miles a day, then it went down to three, now it's more like ten to fifteen a week!
Previously used to travel 360 miles - there & back, three to five times a year, now it's more like just the once.
    Also leisure mileage has dropped.
While, diesel, gave better mpg, and better starting in winter, not valid for the little mileage I know do.

More Honda Civic than Jazz, Nissan Note - no the neighbour has one!
    Seat has possibilities.
