I finally bought my own home!

Options
I always said that when I was in my own home I'd write a post on here so here I am. I am self employed and didn't have a huge deposit but I bought somewhere far better than I ever thought I would get with my budget. I've been here for 2 weeks now and everything is going great.

I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone on here that replied to my posts over the last few months. I didn't post much but I had some answers from people on this forum that were of great help.

If anyone has any questions for someone that has just been through the mortgage process (in August 2016) then I'd be happy to answer in return for the help I had.

If I did it, you can!

Congratulations on getting through the process of buying your first home. Great feeling isn't it. :)
  • Well that's the funny thing for me, I don't feel much at all. When I rented I resented each place from the moment I moved in because I knew it wasn't mine. With this one it feels like I've been living here for years and I don't have that feeling of dread that I always had when moving in rented places.
