Cherry Tomatoes with tough skins

I bought a cherry tomato hanging basket from Aldi, it has produced lots of fruit but the skins seem to be really tough.
I have roasted them and just taken the pulp out when having them with other roast veg, but I would welcome any other suggestions as to what to do with them, and if I have done anything to prevent this!!

Some varieties have thicker skins but in general its water or temperature.
Too hot makes thicker skins (doubt its that one!! at least no chance near me.) Or not enough water.0 -
Thanks. The skins are thick and tough raw, I wanted to use them in salads etc but they are nasty!!0

If you want to take the skins off. !!!!! the tomatoes with a fork and put them in a jug of freshly boiled water for a few minutes. Skins should then peel off easily.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Put the snorkers under the grill. Slit head of cheery tom in a star. Add little garlic, sage, and black pepper. pop cherry tom under grill with snorkers.
Put on pan of boiling water, add egg/ Pop slice of toast into toaster. Butter, add marmite.
Put all on a plate and enjoy.0 -
Variety helps, as spadoosh say. Unless it is a named variety, unlikely from a supermarket I suspect, it will be down to pot luck what you getEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Honestly I wouldn't bother. Turn it into a tomato sauce for pasta, pizza etc, just blitz it with a stick once it's all cooked.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
