I know a lot of the OS people are good cooks, so thought you might be able to help me. I am making trifles for a party tomorrow and the jelly, sponge and fruit bit hasn't set. I adjusted the water for the fruit juice in the tin but I think I should have reduced it more for the fruit itself. How can I rescue it?
If I make more jelly using half the water and add this, will it set then?

I doubt it very much, an option would be to add some gelatine, but, I suspect the easiest and most cost effective method would be to scrap it and start again.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

You have to be careful what fruit juice you use. Some fruits won't allow it to set.0

hi
tip the jelly fruit and sponge mix into a plastic tub add more jelly(chopped quite small) and heat gently in the microwave until jelly has dissolved.
does the fruit have pineapple in it?
tinned pineapple is usually o.k but very rarely it can stop jelly from setting.0 -
Kiwi fruit will also stop the jelly from setting
