I've been using Touch of Silver but I really don't rate it. The conditioner is amazing but in terms of toning I don't think it's working for me
Anyone got any recommendations?

Yep - TIGI Bed Head Dumb Blonde Purple Toning Shampoo.
I used to use Touch of Silver, but changed to this, and it's much better. It's a great shampoo in itself - cleans well, not harsh. And the toning works easily.
Sometimes it's on offer on Amazon, so keep an eye out. The bottle is big though, it does last aaaages. (I've had my latest one for a couple of months now, and still easily have more than 2/3 left - but it's not the only shampoo I use.)
Edit: just had a quick look, and yep, the cheapest price is currently on Amazon - £7.81 for the 400ml bottle.

I've used Touch of Silver shampoo @ £2 ish a bottle and like it. Tried a free sample of White Hot and at £12 a bottle couldn't see a difference.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

I've tried Touch of Silver but didn't see any difference. But I love the White Hot as it gives my hair a lovely greyish blonde tinge, I had a free sample too.0

A top tip from my hairdresser: Use purple shampoo every so often as a hair mask on the roots and top few inches for extra effect.
It really works! I do this when I'm using a conditioning treatment on the ends - I just mix my purple shampoo with a tiny bit of the conditioning treatment and put it over the roots and top of my hair while the main treatment is on the ends, and leave for whatever amount of time. Rinse it all out at the same time for lovely bright, non brassy hair0
