CCJ dispute

I am in the process of sorting myself out debt wise and I have got my credit report from noddle and I see that there is a CCJ listed on there as active, but I have settled this some years ago and noddle say they can't challenge it with out evidence from the court it's been settled, I am just not sure how I get this info?

Any help would be appreciated

Do you not have the paperwork showing that you cleared the debt?

If not, contact the company and ask them to update your credit files and send you confirmation

If the court aren’t aware the debt was paid off you’ll need to contact them with evidence, such as a receipt or statement from the creditor. They should then update the Registry Trust who will update the credit reference agencies.

If something has gone wrong with this process and you need to supply Noddle with evidence that the judgement was paid you can ask the court for a Certificate of Satisfaction for a small fee.

The entry drops off after 6 years so if you are near that point just let it drop off naturally
