Prince2 Courses

Hi,
I'm keen to do my Prince2 foundation cert but there seems to be a lot of variation in cost and I presume quality of the training providers. Can anyone please recommend someone?
I want to do everything online, including the exam. Some providers don't make it clear if the exam is included in their costs or not; or whether they are official accredited courses.
I want to do the foundation course but I've seen some providers offering both as a package, which maybe better value for money (if they are not a really big lump sum to fork out up front)
Thanks for the help.

Prince2, an outdated methodology loved by the public sector and despised by everyone else (only talking from a software development perspective here).
If its so good why do all public sector projects that use it come in sometimes 100s of % over budget and years late. They claim to be used widely in the private sector too. Although is suspect thats only because its a requirment for private companies who have tendered for public sector jobs.
Still. It will get you work if you have it.0 -

Can't help on the question around doing both the courses and exams online. I honestly found the Dummies Guide to Prince 2 to be the best, the online course (Foundation) sent me to sleep and were an utter waste of time. I did a classroom course (provided by my employer, luckily) for the Practioner but don't think it really helped, the book was better, more succinct. I also don't see the point in working on the Foundation and not taking the chance to do the Practioner. You may as well get it over in one go IMHO, it's not much more work.

Another here who has done both and my first question is why do you want to do it? I have used it, in a very stripped down way, for an NHS project (delivered on time and within budget MataNui
) but I'd echo the thoughts that foundation is simple to pass but Practitioner is more about being able to pass the exam than learn how to project manage 0
